Regional Emergency Management Committees

As described under 20 V.S.A. § 6(d), Vermont Emergency Management has established Regional Emergency Management Committees which shall coordinate emergency planning and preparedness activities to improve their regions' ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all disasters.

Vermont Emergency Management has published Regional Emergency Management Committee Statewide Guidance, as well as an editable Regional Plan Template.  This Regional Emergency Management Committee Statewide Implementation Final Guidance Review presentation includes a crosswalk between the language in 20 V.S.A. § 6(d) and the corresponding statewide guidance.

If you have any questions about Regional Emergency Management Committees, please contact your Regional Coordinator.
