The Vermont Emergency Management state Emergency Operations Center is equipped with a full array of communications equipment and computer systems which provide the critical communications needed during disaster operations. On October 15th, 2008 the FCC assigned the station call sign N1VEM to the VEM State EOC Communications Center.
Fully renovated in 2011, the State EOC Communications Center now has multiple operating positions and numerous communications capabilities within Vermont and the continental United States and beyond.
