Register Now: Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference
Vermont Emergency Management and the Vermont Homeland Security Unit will host the 12th annual Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference September 6-7 in Fairlee. This free 2-day conference will have 30 break-out sessions covering topics such as cyber security, local incident planning, and debris management. As in years past we have over 20 state, federal, and non-profit organizations on hand to talk about ways to enhance your preparedness at little to no cost to your jurisdiction or organization.
This year we are very honored to welcome Acting Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Peter Gaynor who will address conference attendees about leading FEMA and how his local and state level emergency management experience has shaped his approach to the agency. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to learn from one of the best emergency managers in the country. We are ecstatic he will be joining us on Friday, September 6 for a lunch-time speaking engagement. Find out more here https://www.fema.gov/leadership
Whether you are a career emergency manager, represent local or state government, lead a non-profit, or are an emergency responder you are sure to benefit from attending and learn from your counterparts around Vermont and New England. You can’t beat the setting at the beautiful Lake Morey Resort in the heart of Vermont’s beauty.
