What is it?

DisasterLAN (DLAN) is a web based incident management system for the Vermont Emergency Operations Center (EOC). 

Who's it for?

Two types of classes are available:

DLAN for Locals

Local emergency management directors (EMDs), emergency management coordinators (EMCs) and emergency operations center staff can use DLAN to request and offer resources, or report incident information to the  state EOC.

DLAN for State Support Functions (SSFs)

Agency, department, or division delegates representing their secretary, commissioner, or director as a lead for their State Support Function (SSF) use DLAN to manage mission activity, track resource deployment, and share information in the state EOC according to their SSF and agency anexes to the State Emergency Operations Plan (SEOP).

How do I get training?

DisasterLAN trainings are posted on the state learning management system. All state employees already have an account. For assistance with registration, contact the training coordinator.

What do I need for training?

To comply with Vermont's NIMS Implementation Plan, ICS-200 is a prerequisite for any level of DisasterLAN training.
