Vermont School Crisis Guide

Governor's Statewide School Safety Training Conference - Conference has reached maximum registrations

The Vermont School Crisis Guide is an all-hazards approach to school emergency preparedness.  The guide is a blueprint for schools to use in planning for student safety should the unexpected occur.

The plan has been developed and revised over several years by the Vermont School Crisis Planning Team (VSCPT) with input from Principals, Superintendents, first responders, school counselors, mental health professionals, and state agencies.   Each school, district, or supervisory union should develop and adopt a local plan that establishes protocols and procedures for school safety.  The individual annexes are available for download below.

Thank-you for your time and efforts to ensure student safety.
