2012:

The 5^th Annual Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference was hosted by Vermont Emergency Management, Vermont Homeland Security, and the Vermont Division of Fire Safety at the Killington Grand Resort in Killington, VT.  The keynote speaker was Bill Read, former director of the National Hurricane Center, with a presentation entitled “40 Years of Chasing ‘Canes” – Reflections of Lessons Taught.

2011:

The 4th Annual Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference was hosted by Vermont Emergency Management, Vermont Homeland Security, and the New England Center for Emergency Preparedness at the Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, VT.  The keynote speaker was Richard A. French, Chief of Training and Exercise at the NYS Office of Emergency Management, who gave a presentation entitled “Has It Really Been Ten Years?  It Seems Like Just Yesterday…” – A look at Emergency Management in the Years Since September 11th.

The 3^rd  Annual Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference was hosted by Vermont Emergency Management, Vermont Homeland Security, Vermont Department of Health, and the New England Center for Emergency Preparedness at the Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, VT.  The keynote speaker was Kris Eide, Director of Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management, who gave a presentation about lessons learned from the Minnesota bridge collapse.
